This is where you choose how your store charges your buyers. The money goes straight to your gateway account; edeck.me does not touch it.

Do not confuse this screen with Billing, which is what edeck.me charges you for the site.

Setting up the gateway

1. In Select method choose Stripe, PayPal or Klarna.
2. Copy the keys from your gateway’s dashboard:
   • Stripe and PayPal: secret key and client key, test and live.
   • Klarna: API username and password, test and live, and the country.
3. Leave Environment on Development and make a test purchase with your gateway’s test cards.
4. When it works, switch Environment to Production and save.

Selling without a gateway

If you get paid by bank transfer, in person or cash on delivery, choose Not use: orders are closed without an online charge and stay as payment pending. If you choose nothing, the store does not close orders: that way a half-configured store does not accept purchases by mistake.

Secret keys give access to your payment account: do not share them and rotate them in the gateway if you think they have leaked.
